After finding out about the will bowers/ Harriet christian video, the Murphy Darragh/McCain support, and PUMAs call for party unity disruption, I felt the need to further investigate PUMA.

Seems like there is some OTHER fishy business. While pumpac.org was registered in California (yet the blogger “murphy” is in MA), PUMAPAC.COM was registered in a VERY red state on the very same day that PUMAPAC.org became an actual PAC. courtesy of GoDaddy:

UTAH!

Now, Sure… there are Democrats in Red States. I am located in one of the biggest swing states which tends to lean slightly red- Florida. FL went blue in 2000 (before being stolen by the supreme court), and we MIGHT go blue this year! But the evidence against PUMA is just mounting. When was the last time Utah went blue? Georgia?.. is Arizona going blue this year? Have they gone blue lately? No. So- take the following into consideration:

The PUMAPAC.com website seems to be nothing more than a link right over to blog.pumapac.org which is the PUMA mother ship, yet the California registered “pumapac.org” is just an empty index site. Could it be that these are actual REAL Republicans posing as Democrats and they are pushing along the PUMA “brand?” Yes, yes, it could be. Swift Boat Veterans For Truth started on the internet too.

writeinpartyusa.org is registered in Georgia, a red state.

But my favorite – the most damning evidence of all:

Dems4McCain.info is also registered in a RED State, a very funky red state….. Arizona! McCain’s home state! Ans what’s even more astounding is:

clintondems.com,

hireheels.com,

gopumaparty.com

chicagoagainstobama.com

stop-obama.org

hillaryclintonforum.net- are all as well! They are all registered and launched in ARIZONA.

Funny, isn’t it? These are ALL sites linked to on the PUMA organization’s umbrella site: Justsaynodeal.com

On hillaryclintonforum, you are not allowed to say you will write in a third party or vote Obama, otherwise you are accused of being a troll, a “bot” or worse- a traitor. The sites leader- Murray (sounds an awful lot like “Murphy”) is ADAMANT about the clinton forum supporters voting McCain. Infiltrate the site and ask something along the lines of “What do we do now” Murray and Rafree will surely be the first responders. They will say, “vote McCain.” As much as they “say” they “respect” everyone’s rights. I have witnessed on their forum time again where they TURN on each other and BAN Senator Obama supporters or Senator Clinton supporters who now align behind the Democratic party and support Senator Obama.

Now, I haven’t searched into all of these “pro-hillary” turned “pro-McCain” sites, and some information is private. But my favorite so far is ChicagoagainstObama.com- shouldn’t the person actually be IN Chicago? Apparently not, they are registered in Arizona as well!

As we further compare the evidence I truly believe that it’s safe to say PUMA is DEFINTELY a Republican swiftboat organization trying to widen the “divided” gap between the Democratic Party and take down Obama so that McCain can win. And some of these truly upset Democrats have begun supporting this organization of slimeballs.

I’m sorry.

Stay tuned for more…. HERE

  1. Just a minor detail — I blog from Texas, but my host is located in NEW ZEALAND.

And with the wonderful advent of interstate (and international) communication through the internet, it is very possible for someone to choose a domain registrar that is located in another state.

In other words, this post of yours proves nothing.

  2. Christina Says:

Sure. except this isn’t “hosting.” this is REGISTRATION info.
look up yesfordemocracy- it will come up FL.

  3. Wendy ~ Dem4life Says:

Just a heads up,,,a lot of those sites you see listed are MySpace pages. They acted as if they were Hillary pages and now they are pure McCain, it’s a disgrace to see her name used in such a way.

I have some registration info. on some of the web pages saved somewhere as well I’ll dig it up for you.

  4. Christina Says:

thank you Wendy! I am working hard to bust PUMA over here! lol

  5. Past PUMA Says:

Holy crap!!!!! You’re brave to post this for the PUMAs to crucify you.
I had not clue all of them were from McCain’s state.
I silently dropped PUMA the minute McCain said he would never surrender in Iraq.

  6. Cello Says:

This is not surprising, but it’s fascinating nonetheless. Why do all things weird and right-wing come from Utah anyway?

  8. Christina Says:

Past PUMA- yes they already have “hijacked” our petition. But I refuse to take it down. let it be a testament to the hypocrisy of PUMA.

  9. Christina Says:

Cello- I haven’t the slightest idea, boredom I assume. There isn’t much to do in Utah. Driven through it.

  10. Jeff Says:

What a shock.. republicans supporting a republican.

    great job.

  11. Loyal to Hillary 4Ever Says:

ummmmmm…domains by proxy is what comes up when you do a whois search on any site that has paid for a private domain and it will come up as AZ. Nice try, but I think you need to do a little research on domain registrations, web hosting and all that techie stuff.

  12. Loyal to Hillary 4Ever Says:

I meant a private domain registration and before you say those people are hiding who they are, not quite. I have a few sites and mine are privately registered because I don’t want my home address and phone number on the web. I’m sure that’s the case of the ones you listed as well.

  13. Christina Says:

I didn’t say they were hiding who they were. And everyone has the right to privatize their information.
Your fellow PUMAs posted my private information all over the PRO-McCain blogs today. I didn’t like that very much.
I am going with the information that I have attained- and whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you.
These people have entered their registration addresses in Arizona and other red states. I sincerely believe they are Republicans. And they are succeeding in duping a sector of the Democratic Party.

  14. Christina Says:

These websites ARE registered in Arizona- as I am REGISTERED in FL. If you look up this URL it will say FL because I live in FL.
Every single one of those sites is registered to Arizona. Now, isn’t that just a wonderful little coincidence?

  15. Andy Says:

I am a PUMA. Every PUMA I have encountered has a different reason, its not a monolithic organization. So my reasons are not necessarily that of other PUMAs. I have voted Dem for almost 40 years. I’m an idealist and take my vote and my causes very seriously and respect everyone’s right to vote their conscience. I cannot ever vote for Obama. I knew this back in February when I saw the church he attended. So much hate mongering, so much prejudice, so much ugly ridicule, so many lies. It goes against every noble principle I have. I don’t know how I will vote in November, but it can’t be for Obama. Please try to respect PUMAs. The ones I have encountered are very involved and deeply committed to principles. And virtually all have been Democrats. I respect the right of people to vote for Obama and McCain. I’m likely to do neither. Please respect everyones point of view.

  16. diamondtiger Says:

That’s quite a jump you are making from being registered in a “red” state to being a republican. I am a Proud Puma living in a “blue” state surrounded by the obamanation and their intimidation style. I am NOT a republican, never have been, and nobody is paying me to do what I do or say what I say.

My problem is with the theft of delegates in MI and the DNC breaking their own sunshine rules about fair reflection. When the DNC and Obama start flying right then the Pumas will stop throwing the constitution in their faces. You cannot be the head of the Dem Party and be undemocratic. Everybody’s votes count. Got It?

  17. Burgers Says:

Oh, you’re hoping. You’re really hoping, aren’t you? But guess what? Lots of us PUMAs really are liberal (former) democrats disgusted with the “democratic” party and their grotesque, unqualified, hypocritical joke of a selected nominee. That’s why we’ll be voting McCain. It’s a protest vote. We should be in fine hands with Pelosi and Reid. Or not.

  18. Sharon Cobb Says:

Great job. I just posted the registration and proof of Murphy’s donation to McCain in 2000.
    http://SharonCobb.blogspot.com

    Yes We Can!
    (and NO they can’t!)

  19. Steve Says:

before any of you PUMA people try to comment on this one, I’m going to have to present those tidbits of truth for you

Hillary made this statement on Sept. 1, 2007 regarding the DNC rules for the order of primaries,

“We believe Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina play a unique and special role in the nominating process. And we believe the DNC’s rules and its calender provide the necessary structure to respect and honor that role. Thus, we will signing the pledge to adhere to the DNC approved nominating calendar”
Hillary Clinton Campaign, Sept. 1, 2007

When Clinton realized that Obama’s campaign was threatening hers, she reversed her statement on respecting the DNC approved nominating calendar and starting spouting off about liberty, comparing the “denial of votes” to the denial of votes for African Americans in our country’s history. Such sick and twisted irony. The idea that so many people (supposedly) rally around this notion that justice and liberty were so crushed by the DNC is appalling to me.

This is the statement issued by her campaign in Feb. 2008

“With regard to Michigan and Florida, our position is clear. We’re going to ask our delegates to vote to seat the delegations from Florida and Michigan. We do not think that that many Americans should have their votes and their voices and their preferences denied. We had an enormous turn-out, in particular in Florida, the largest turnout in the history of the Democratic primary in Florida. And we believe that it is critically important that those delegates have an opportunity to express their preferences at the convention. I don’t believe that anyone seriously thinks that we are going to have a national convention in which the delegations of Florida and Michigan are not going to have a say. So that is our position.” Clinton Campaign Feb. 2008

    please respond to this PUMA

    oops, I almost forgot.

please watch this video of Tim Russert (RIP) commenting on Hillary’s flip flop and interviewing a speechless Hillary supporter on the issue.

will the PUMA people be as unable to make a comeback?

    I think so

    and and one more thing

“Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno.”

-John McCain, June 1998, Rep. Fund-raiser

    http://www.salon.com/news/1998/06/25newsb.html

  20. Heather Says:

I can’t speak for those websites, but http://www.blog.pumapac.org is not a Republican group. Darragh Murphy is not a Republican either. Didn’t you consider that her support of John McCain was a strategic move to avoid W as a president? That doesn’t make her a Republican. She comes from a long line of Democrats. She actually supported John Edwards initially. Check your facts.

And Steve, why do you have to keep posting the crap about Chelsea? It is just rude. It disrespects Chelsea and Janet Reno more than it discredits John McCain, who may be a raging asshole, but at least he has credentials for the office. I would love to vote for Hillary or John Edwards, but I am not voting for someone who is all style and no recognizable substance other than his educational pedigree. W has a nice pedigree too, and it didn’t help. Maybe you just like making fun of women?

  21. Christina Says:

Nope Heather, I consider a lump sum of $500 to John McCain in 2000 to be a sign of support of John McCain then AND now. Darragh didn’t donate that much to the Clinton campaign, she only began donating little sums of $50 and $100 AFTER starting PUMA.

  22. antifish Says:

    Christina,

Oops, you got us! We were one step ahead of you and captured all the Pumapac domain names we could think of so disingenuous people like you wouldn’t use them to slur us.

I can’t speak for any of the other sites you are slandering here, but Puma PAC is a legitimate organization. Yes, Murphy donated to John McCain in 2000. She did this to try and ensure he would be the Republican nominee and not Bush. You see, she saw the danger of letting an inexperienced and arrogant candidate have a shot at the White House. Turns out, she had great insight. Today, we at Puma PAC feel the same trepidation about Barack Obama. We don’t need eight more years of chaos.

So, you can spread your little lies and try to convince yourself that we are not Democrats, but think about this. Why is the DNC having such a hard time raising funds now? You know the answer? I do. It’s because we, the base of the party, who have supported them for years, have been disenfranchised and marginalized. We’re now using our money for a higher purpose. To fight back!

  23. Christina Says:

Oh and Heather, I AM a woman. I am just exercising my first amendment. I dont understand why that irritates PUMA so much. They say I am little, that it wont matter, yet they link to me, sear me, and hijack my petition. Why not just leave yestodemocracy alone. In one day I have gotten 4,000 hits. People WANT this site up.
Pardon if I am short with you, after seeing the smear job from NoQuarter I am a wee bit irritated.
W had daddy buy him his pedigree. Obama’s mother was on food stamps. Obama EARNED his pedigree.
This is not about Senator Obama, this is about this country. I consider a Democrat in office essential this nation.

  24. Christina Says:

antifish. Good for you, your Republican brand is sure to squander. I am glad that you know you support a Republican agenda.

  25. Jeff Says:

Yeah, the nutjobs at these anti-Obama sites are so committed to democracy, that they ban/delete any comments that are not directly in support of their viewpoint. What a joke.

  26. Heather Says:

Christina, I was talking about Steve, not you. He keeps repeating the same line about a joke reportedly made in 1998 about Chelsea. Thank you for posting my comments.

  27. antifish Says:

    Christina,

Why did you remove the post where I disproved your rant that Murphy only gave to Hillary after she started the PAC? Do you have to distort the truth because you can’t handle it? I thought so. And you call us Republicans. Better look in the mirror.

  28. Christina Says:

antifish- I do NOT delete ANY comments on yestodemocracy.org. Please write your comment over. I did not remove it.

  29. antifish Says:

    Dear Anti-Pumas,

Christina is lying to you. She knows that Murphy gave $650 to Hillary Clinton in February, months before Puma PAC was started, but she chooses to hide that fact from you because it doesn’t fit in with her propaganda that we are Republicans. Ask yourself, do you really want to hang out on a site run by a liar?

  30. Christina Says:

I know that? Well, thank you for reading my mind.

Thank you for your comment, Murphy…err.. antifish

  31. Heather Says:

murphy and antifish are two different people

  32. TiredOfCrap Says:

    Christina,

I’m sorry this doesn’t fit the theme / message of your post, but domains are registered by Proxy in Arizona as a means of attaining some privacy….which obviously people need since Obamabots behave like thugs and like to bully women. Privacy registration has absolutely nothing to do with swing states, etc.

It’s charges like this based on ignorance that has divided and ruined our party…similar to charges of racism, etc.

And before you make some conspiracy charge against me……I’m not associated with any of the web site at all. I’m just Tired Of the Crap!

  33. Christina Says:

tired of crap- what makes you think we would make this about you? Why would we do that? This isn’t about PUMA voters- I think PUMA voters have been tricked into participating in a swiftboat organization.
Obamabots behave like thugs and like to bully women? What makes you say that? have you seen the PUMA voters on this site?
I think these sites were registered in Arizona, just like I am registered in FL for the same reason- because the sites were created in Arizona. Just like writeinhillary was created in GA.

  34. TiredOfCrap Says:

    You said:
I think these sites were registered in Arizona, just like I am registered in FL for the same reason- because the sites were created in Arizona
That’s because you are ignorant about the ways of the Internet. And that’s what is SOOOOOO frustrating. There is soooo much ignorance & blindness behind the whole Obama movement.

regarding the anger that you’ve encountered here…..you reap what you sow. Go to any of the old positive Hillary Clinton youtube videos…and then read the filthy comments that Obama supporters wrote on EVERY SINGLE ONE thousands of times. You’ll see every gender specific obscenity in the book. Maybe then…maybe if you open your mind…you’ll understand why the majority of Democrats have had enough.

  35. Christina Says:

Why would you call me ignorant? That is another hateful PUMA comment.
I am not the voice of the Obama movement. I am a Democrat supporting Democrats.

I didn’t leave those comments on the you tube videos. And two wrongs don’t make a right. You shouldn’t condemn something that you exercise yourself- you have proven that you do so by calling me ignorant. That is called hypocrisy.

See .. I’m not sounding so “ignorant” now, am I?

You say you hate the filth Obama supporters comment, well why do the EXACT same thing? It weakens your argument.

I don’t need to open my mind, I think you should do some serious cognitive thinking and try to open yours. You are a horse with blinders only seeing one side of the argument.
I support Senator Clinton- I know that the media was sexist. But I don’t SUPPORT the notion that it was Senator Obama’s fault. And nobody has proved that it was.

  36. TiredOfCrap Says:

Christina…several people have tried to explain to you how Privacy registration of domains work. But, you absolutely refuse to accept the facts. That’s ignorance on this subject.

Even your own Obama techies would tell you that you missed the boat on this article. Sorry…it’s ok. I’m ignorant about all kinds of stuff…but I try not to be so opinionated on those subjects ;-)

If this still doesn’t sink in…..then let’s just agree to disagree. I’ll cancel your vote out in November.

  37. Christina Says:

Thank you Heather. I was being facetious. I know that Antifish and Murphy are two different people. How do YOU know? I can see and track IPs. Can you?

  38. bmw60 Says:

    The Voice of the Voters
Use it to help people understand who we are and why we are organizing. We are the voice of VOTERS, not of special interest groups, not of corporations, not of politicians. We are motivated by the factional internecine fighting and the destructive policies carried out by our inept party leadership. It is the divisive disdain for VOTERS, practiced by the leadership and egged on by the media and some politicians, that has brought the Democratic Party to the brink of ANOTHER GENERAL ELECTION LOSS and the irrelevancy of the Democratic Party altogether.
Our aim is to be the AARP of Democrats. EVERY SINGLE Democrat in America should be a member of Puma PAC. Our mission is to make sure that EVERY VOTE IS COUNTED EVERY TIME, that every good Democratic candidate gets FAIR TREATMENT by the Party, and that EVERY DEMOCRATIC VOTER matters to the Party. We are the voters. We run the party, the party does not run us. This is the United States, Howard Dean and Donna Brazile — not Cuba or North Korea, where the Party rules with an iron fist and voters fall in line. If you own a copy of the Constitution, time to drag it out of the closet where it’s been gathering dust along with your college thesis and other long-forgotten history books.
In this country, political parties are organized to represent and advocate for the values and needs of VOTERS. Somewhere along the line, you and every shallowly ambitious politician like you, forgot this. You seem to believe that our job as voters is to PROMOTE YOU and your chosen candidate to positions of immense power and fame.
We’ll come around? We’ll fall in line? We’ll rally behind YOU and YOUR CANDIDATE? You have got to be kidding, right? How about this? YOU will come around! YOU will fall in line! YOU will rally behind US — our values, our principles, and our REAL needs. You seem to have forgotten that you lead to serve. You need to remember this. You and your candidate believe that you can PANDER to LEAD; that you simply factionalize, lie to, and pander to the voters in order to “win” an election.
You are allowed to lead the party only as long as the voters want you to; only as long as we believe your leadership serves our interests, our values, our principles, and our priorities. You have failed in every capacity of leadership for which we elected and supported you. You have FAILED to keep our coalition party united. You have FAILED the democratic voters in Florida and Michigan and in caucus states where they were bullied and intimidated and disenfrachised. You have FAILED to protect and support an astoundingly competent and distinguished Democratic candidate. You have FAILED to honor the values and principles of TENS OF MILLIONS of Americans by NOT ONCE taking a stand against the sexist onslaught designed to ridicule every American woman and to undermine and handicap Senator Clinton’s candidacy.
Look around today Howard and Donna. Check out the so-called liberal media and so-called liberal blogs. Read what they are writing about us. Read how they characterize us with the ugliest, abusive, and most vile accusations and ridicule. Even today, bullying, thuggish Democrats are attacking other Democrats simply for standing up for their right to vote and to protest. This is the United States, Howard and Donna. POLITICAL DISSENT IS ONE OF OUR GREATEST AND MOST PROFOUND RIGHTS. Even today you will not stand up and support this, our most precious of rights.
Every day, even today, you CONTINUE TO FAIL.

    Go PUMA’s!!!!!!

  39. Heather Says:

Christina, I know Murphy and antifish are different because I know them both as individuals. I am glad you are supporting Democrats. It is my intent to do the same thing. The Democratic Party would be better served to nominate a qualified candidate in August at the convention. I have no desire to “swift boat” Senator Obama. I think the party leadership and Senator Obama should have recognized early that Senator Obama’s unfortunate associations and lack of a lengthy period of service as an elected official (during which he frequently failed to vote) made him vulnerable as a candidate.

  40. Christina Says:

Heather- you say Obama frequently forgets to vote, so you support a candidate who forgets to vote even MORE?
Look, we all have our issues about what we like to vote on. But PUMA is capitalizing on those issues and making it a swiftboat organization that by the day becomes more and more fringe right..
I cannot sit by and allow it. And I don’t have to. Just like PUMA didn’t have to sit back and watch the sexism from the media take place, and they created PUMA which is now fully ANTI-Obama, I don’t have to lie down and allow it to happen, I can fight it- and I am.

  41. Cello Says:

Darragh Murphy is a Republican rat-fucker. She gave $500 to McCain in 2000, and $0 to Al Gore. Any PUMA who buys her argument that she was giving money to McCain for “strategic” reasons is a dupe and a moron. You’re being played, suckers!

Democrats don’t start PACs that support Republicans. Supporters of Hillary don’t violate her wishes by supporting Republicans.

  42. bmw60 Says:

OHHHHHHH CELLO typical of an Obamatron… name calling and using filthy language… You will never see that on PUMAPAC blog… Note this comment from another YouTube on how to talk to an Obama cultist!!!

    Everyone take note:

Cultists are fiercly fraternal. They take personal offense to any and all things critical to their brethren. They attack en masse, and will often recruit Cultists for backup whenever they need to portray the appearance of popularity. One should expect a flood of Cultist rhetoric at that point.

Pay attention everyone. This type of Cultist is among the more reasonable types. They are able to understand right from wrong, and generally are well informed and honest. The issue with this type is they are radically naive. This cultist is arguing something like: A Nazi soldier was not necessarily anti-semetic, he may have been just really proud to be German and serve in the Army. While technically true, only the most naive among us would come to the same conclusion. (ignoring Nazi conscripts)

This is a prime example of the Cultist mentality. He/she cannot grasp anything as fact (even the obvious) unless their leader says it to be true. A Cultist can look at this video and actually be offended by the obvious. This explains why a Cultist will fall for their leader praising the public financing system, and then saying it’s fundamentally broken within a 7 month period. They will do so passionately and with a straight face, because this is a cult.

    Comment by obama cultist

First off, u don’t know Obama. You never been to Chicago–this is so clear due to ur ignorance on Obama’s history while working as an organizer for the Roseland Community. End of Story!

Further more, you should, 1st, tell us who u are and what have u contributed to society??? “nothing is my guess”. How can u make a serious statement when no one knows “jack” about u? what would come up if we googled u? a news article about u being busted smoking crack??? I wonder.

    bigticer Reply :

Now, look how this Cultist still cannot articulate a cogent argument; even after intial criticism. He/she assumes I’ve never been to Chicago based on NOTHING; for all they know I could be blogging FROM Chicago. And, then, of course, the required childish insult; in this case “smoking crack.” To a Cultist, opposition to Obama is, by definition, ignorance.

  43. Heather Says:

Christina, I support Hillary Clinton. I agree with you that “swiftboating” wrong, but I think it is appropriate to talk about the facts and necessary to vet candidates. It is my hope that Hillary Clinton, who won the popular vote (if you count all states), will be designated as the Democratic nominee in August. I also want to work towards having the electoral college system abolished – that will be hard to do, I know – but I really think we have to have a direct voting system and a publicly financed system for educating voters so that we have meaningful participation in government by all people, regardless of economic means.

  44. JumpingJack Says:

To those Hillary/McCain supporters who argue that voting for the inexperienced Obama would be like voting for the inexperienced Bush, think again.

    1. Bush was not only inexperienced, he’s also an idiot (i.e. hit IQ is very low). Obama, by contrast, is very smart. And McCain, by contrast, graduated at the bottom of his class, and he doesn’t even know how to use a computer. So you could say that voting for McCain would be more like voting for Bush (which is actually quite true).

    2. Bush’s govrnment is actually run by Dick Cheney who has all the experience in the world and knows a lot, but is a hawk and a war profiter. He actually knew very well that attacking Iraq would be a disaster even back in ‘94 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YENbElb5-xY), but then, being the chair of Haliburton, said Hey, why not make a buck or two? So much about experience – it allows you to do very ugly things and get away with it, so it’s really not the ultimate indicator of the best president.

  45. Anne Says:

Why are we wasting time arguing with the PUMA people? You want to vote for McCain. By all means, please do. Republican trolls, low-information voters, poor losers or bitter pseudo-feminists; take your pick, or create another category…who cares? These people have no credibility outside of the pathetic echo chamber they’ve created. They deserve neither our respect or attention. While Christina’s efforts to unmask the origins of the group are admirable, our collective time would be better spent elsewhere. Let them have hillaryis44.com and the rest of their amateur-hour forums…and don’t feed the trolls.

  46. Christina Says:

    Anne-
We argue because we like exposing PUMA thus,in our eyes, garnering the privilege ofsaying that our party is not divided and that PUMA is a swiftboat organization.
    And because it’s funny.

  47. semidi Says:

Arizona elected a lebsian Democrat to the governor’s office in 2002 and re-elected her in 2006, so we’re not all that red over here. And despite her support for Obama, I think she’s superb.

  48. Christina Says:

I know not everyone is red. Hence my words, ” Now, Sure… there are Democrats in Red States.”

  49. [...] Remember our other story about this? HERE [...]

  50. If experience is any indicator, McCain should never be president.

I don’t know what you guys know about his military record, but he didn’t earn the name “Songbird” by fellow POWS in the Hanoi Hilton for exhibiting either honor or valor. Research yourself PUMA. His lengthy record of recent-political flip-flops, and the complete and utter failure of his (Bush’s) administration (8 years) should be clear reason for automatic disqualitification. I can’t believe this is the best candidate they came up with.

These PUMAS should know that he called his WIFE a CVNT in front of a reporter, has a history or explosive aggressive behavior, cussing at other Senators, and is currently facing allegations about getting physically violent with a staffer. But of course, this doesnt offend a group founded on the basis of “sexism.”

And that, you PUMAS think is the behavior of a PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES? Come on, you have to be kidding me. Come on, what is the WORST THING ANYBODY has on Obama? Reverend Wright? You guys forget about Hagee? Obama realized just as quickly as McCain did that these relationships politically were bad, and both parties decided to seperate.

The only difference is that the Republicans cling to this as it is one of their only pieces of hope.

Heather, you said earlier you would rather have an “asshole” as President? That blows my mind.

  51. Drew Says:

Your analysis is all wrong. Your whole argument rests on whether or not someone is in a red state. Well, then why is Obama trying to win red states?

  53. Karen Freed Says:

You see, if Senator Clinton had won the Democratic nomination I would have voted for her even though I favored Senator Obama. I thought that we were fortunate to have two such great options (or three, if you include John Edwards). Though I can understand the discouragement that Clinton suporters must feel, I cannot understand why they would support a Republican over a Democrat, particularly if the pumas essentially declare themselves “lifelong” Democrats. John McCain’s policies are in direct opposition to the policies espoused by both Clinton and Obama. And may I remind you that all Democratic contenders signed an agreement not to campaign in states that refused to follow the DNC calendar. Changing one’s mind afterward is not an option. Clinton should have fought the DNC BEFORE the damage was done. You pumas are being misled by conservative operatives and some of us are just trying to point that out. You’re being used. By all means write in Hillary at election time, but voting for McCain is like shooting yourself in the foot to spite your toes.

  54. Karen Freed Says:

A note though, writing in Hillary on the ballot will essentially be the same as voting for McCain because you’ll only succeed in splitting the Democratic vote. I’m hoping that if you really think about it (setting emotion aside) you’ll allow reason to win out over hurt feelings.

  55. Helena Handbasket Says:

“Please try to respect PUMAs. The ones I have encountered are very involved and deeply committed to principles. And virtually all have been Democrats. I respect the right of people to vote for Obama and McCain. I’m likely to do neither. Please respect everyones point of view.” — Andy

Andy – run, don’t walk, to Washington and get a job on Capitol Hill. I worked there for many years, Senate and House, Congressmen, Senators, and committees. One of the many things most people don’t know about the Hill is that the two parties have to get along or there won’t be any legislation. (Like what’s going on now with the leaders the Dems have on both sides of the Hill.)

Staffers, as well as Members, must work together – we used to say, “do you want a bill or not?” to newbies who wouldn’t compromise their rigid principles to get agreements that didn’t totally screw one side and reward the other.

When you’re actually involved in running the country, you watch what you say. I may not have socialized with Democrats, but I never called them nasty names like so many of today’s message board posters do. I always had to remember that my side might need their votes someday.

I wish everybody would tone it down a little and get back in touch with reality.

Except that you failed, and you’re not strong and you have zero credibility and you were embarrassed on national television thanks to my information.
