What Republicans think of PUMA and Hillary Clinton
July 6, 2008
As I have mentioned before, this is the ultimate culmination of identity politics. When two victim groups’ interests collide, one or the other will be disappointed. I chuckle (Heck, LOL!) when I see them trying to out-victim each other.
The real question is whether the Democratic party will figure this out, and change their tactics after the (hopefully) stunning defeat of the King victim, BHO. I’m not holding my breath. I foresee several more years of “Obama didn’t win because of all the RACISTS!!!!!” And the Shrillary gang will be whining “She didn’t win because of all the SEXISTS!!!!” for years to come as well. I’m looking forward to the told-you-so recriminations within the Democrat party!
Frightening how they can all be so blinded by it all… The concept that either of them should be entitled to anything strictly by their membership in the victim class is so repugnant to most of us….
Yeah, it’s so good to have Republicans on your side, right PUMA?
“Looks like it really pained her to endorse Obama. Since she hasn’t done anything for anyone but herself, Hillary’s “full support” really equates to “no support”. Don’t be fooled into feeling pity or admiration for this evil sociopath. “Public service” my ass. She’s like one of those horror movie monsters that can’t be killed and keep coming back to get you. The power-hungry always turn up again.
I wish there were tapes of her and Bubba’s verbal exchanges from the campaign, especially at the end when losing became inevitable. Now that would be entertaining!”
Right PUMA. You’re being oh-so welcomed by those Republicans who never did ANYTHING to Hillary, right? Those Republicans who never made sexist remarks about Clinton. No, there is no 527 anti-clinton group founded by GOP called, “Citizens United Not Timid.” Seems like Republicans really like using that word:

No, Republicans weren’t behind any of these things!
Earlier this year, an infamous, though quite mainstream, Republican Party operative quietly launched a new anti-Hillary Clinton 527 group called Citizens United Not Timid — yes, it really is C.U.N.T. The notorious operative behind it is Roger Stone, a protege of Richard Nixon who is known for his trademark impeccable grooming, a facade that masks as thoroughly sleazy a character as any operating in modern politics.
PUMAs are like the sad stories of battered women, they make excuses for those who batter them, and then blame everyone around for not coming to their aid. “We didnt leave the Democratic Party, they left us.” “Why didn’t the DNC come to Clinton’s defense?”
Question: when is the DNC going to come to Obama’s defense against racism? Here is an answer PUMA: It’s not their job!

A Snap is a snap except for when it’s a thud.
The thing of it is…
Republicans are funny
However, by nature they are NOT funny if you get my drift.

Oh Anita- I get it.
Will any PUMAs? That is the question.

Uh oh, better watch out, apparently the puma’s have raised enough money to churn out 5,000 of these:

I like how you can’t even read the poster because of all of the noise and garbage in the background. It looks like something a twelve year-old would put together in a junior high photoshop class.
Yep, this is what we’re up against.

Yikes, what a bizarre poster! Buzz words like arrogance, cherry picked quotes, claims to represent 18 million (BTW, every Clinton supporter I know personally supports Obama)…but it’s early. As the campaign unfolds people will get over their anger at their candidate losing a close race and start getting into the real race. Time heals old wounds, and the issues debated will starkly show the choice ahead of us. I am glad blogs like this exist to help spread the message that democrats falling for the PUMA-propaganda are being manipulated and played by Republicans. As that message gets more clear, the pumas will continue to fade to become merely a curiosity.

Barack Obama starring as “Change” the Gardener in remake of movie classic, “Being There”, starring Peter Sellers as “Chance” the Gardener!

How these people could even think of voting for McCain sickens me..yeah call it a “protest vote” that will make them feel ok about it?? Most of them claim to be feminists hell most of them aren’t old enough to spell the word and have NO idea about the woman’s movement. They don’t care about woman’s rights they can say they do a million times it doesn’t change that facts THEY DON’T CARE!!
They don’t care about anything or anyone but themselves and their 15 minutes of crap,,,they don’t even care about our troops dieing WAY TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN!!! I hope they sleep good at night!
And this 18 million crap Scott I’ve heard the same from every Hillary supporter, I have many in my group and many friends that have said the same they are voting for Obama and I’m one! Were do they get off???
It’s a shame they didn’t have that flier done when they hit those cars in FL…I heard they were told to plaster them every and put them in mailboxes..isn’t that a CRIME????? Stack them up!

“PUMAs are like the sad stories of battered women, they make excuses for those who batter them, and then blame everyone around for not coming to their aid.”
You know, I’m really glad that your blog exists and is exposing the PUMA’s for what they are. I was going to link to you in some of the blogs I read/my own blog, until I saw the item I quoted above.
Given your opinion on domestic violence, I begin to wonder if you are, perhaps, a Republican yourself.
Your opinion on this critical women’s issue is every bit as disgusting as C.U.N.T., and is also utterly ill-informed. The last thing battered women need is for you to batter them some more for something that has ZERO to do with them.
You certainly won’t bring any feminists who may be thinking of abstaining around to voting for Sen. Obama by offering sexist comparisons and going after domestic violence victims. What’s next? Welfare mothers? Baby killers? Can you torture a metaphor to make the PUMA’s just like them too? I bet you can.
Pffffft. So much of the dialogue from Dems has sounded much like your comment. And then you wonder why some women are upset with the Dems. Look in the mirror, asshole.

Thanks for your comment Elissa- can you please tell me how I am wrong in my assessment? It’s a sad thing to watch a battered woman make excuses for her abuser… but it’s a cold-hard fact that battered women do… and as someone who has witnessed this, this sad projection.. I stand by my statement.

I voted for Bill Clinton twice, I believed in him, and although he got mired in the disgrace of his personal excesses, I still see him as a great politician. A great politician with serious ego and character flaws that ultimately disqualified his ability to lead this country. Bill broke my heart. Sad, but true. I also see Hillary as a strong Democrat with great leadership abilities, but minus the personal weaknesses her husband suffers. Honestly and truly, I love this woman and I think she would be a great president…if she didn’t have the baggage of her husband. I had a terrific struggle making my choice of candidate this election, but the obvious need for change and a fresh approach won out. I decided to go with Obama. It was a difficult choice for me, one I thought over long and hard, and I did a lot of toggling back and forth before I made my decision. Two great candidates, which one do I choose?
My point is, I think that most Democrats went through this same process of choosing their candidate. I think most Democrats saw great possibilities in both candidates. I just can’t accept that there are large numbers - any number - of Democrats out there that are blatantly hateful bigots like the ilk of PUMA. It is so obviously a radical faction of racists and/or bigots behind that group. The first time I ran into one of their sites while surfing political news, I was totally stunned by the hatred and bigotry expressed there. I had never, EVER seen Democrats use that tone and language in all my 61 years of life. It confused and frightened me. Then I did some research of PUMA online, and it became indisputably obvious that this was an attack campaign initiated by Republicans to disrupt and divide the Democratic Party. I believe their goal was to pull in unsuspecting Hillary backers with the premise that this was an honest movement to get justice for her failed campaign. Looking at the more recent activity on PUMA sites and blogs, I see that a great number of the legitimate Hillary supporters have pulled out of PUMA, having caught on to their true intentions. It seems that PUMA has lost their steam at this point, but I wonder if they will persist in their goal to disrupt the Democratic convention. I trust the DNC is alert to the true nature of this group and will take every measure possible to diminish their presence at the convention. It seems that racist groups have an unfathomable passion and drive to do harm, will go to any lengths, and will stop at nothing.
